Day by day.
Day 1 · Cross the line
Depart Nairobi at 06:30, stopping near the Equator around 10:30. Have lunch on the road, reach your riverside camp around 15:30, then begin your first game drive. Dinner and an overnight stay follow.
Day 2 · The Special Five scavenger hunt
An early drive at 06:00 gives time to look for reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, Beisa oryx and gerenuk. Return for breakfast and a rest, then explore again around 16:00. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.
Day 3 · Beads, songs and the people of the river
Begin with a morning drive, then visit a Samburu village around 11:00. After lunch, choose another game drive or time by the river around 16:00. Finish with dinner and a final evening at camp.
Day 4 · South toward home
Take one last sunrise drive at about 06:00, then have breakfast, check out and travel south. Lunch is en route, with planned Nairobi hotel drop-off around 16:30. Travel times remain approximate.
